 Tidying Up

• Pick up all items from the floor. 

• Return each item to its proper place. 

Floors

• Move items as needed. 

• Vacuum and mop all floors thoroughly. 

• Clean all corners, edges, and under furniture. 

• Return items to their proper position after cleaning. 

Dusting & Polishing (Throughout)

• Dust and polish: 

- Light fittings and wall fixings 

- Units, blinds, and windows (frames and sills) 

- Doors, skirting boards, and radiators (including valves) 

• Move items as necessary to clean under

Bathrooms & W/C

• Clean all sinks (including underneath). 

• Buff and shine taps, plugs, chrome fittings, and mirrors. 

• Clean and descaled: 

- Bath, bath panels, shower glass, and tiles (inside and out) 

- Shower valve, hose, head, and tiles 

• Clean and disinfect toilet (cistern, seat, pan inside/outside, and waste connector). 

• Wipe wall units top, sides, inside, and underneath. 

• Buff and shine radiators. 

Kitchen & Utility Room

• Clean and disinfect: 

- Cupboard and drawer fronts 

- All surfaces and under wall-mounted units - Door handles, internal window frames, seals, and glass 

- Cooking appliances and worktops (move small appliances to clean underneath) 

• Clean inside the microwave. 

• Wash sink, taps, and other shiny surfaces — buff and shine. 

Beds

• Make all beds neatly — straighten sheets and plump pillows. 

Changing Beds

• Change all bedding where necessary (fresh sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers). 

Living Room

• Follow floor and dusting steps from sections 2 and 3. 

• Remove sofa cushions, vacuum underneath, and replace neatly. 

Dining Room

• Follow floor and dusting steps from sections 2 and 3. 

• Dust and polish table top, legs, and all chairs (including legs). 

Stairs, Banisters & Hallways

• Follow floor and dusting steps from sections 2 and 3. 

Front Door

• Clean both inside and outside surfaces. 

Trash

• Empty all bins and replace with fresh liners. 

• Dispose of trash properly. 

Bedrooms / Living Rooms

• Remove cobwebs from ceilings and corners

• Dust all reachable surfaces (wardrobes, shelving, cupboards)

• Wipe accumulated dust from tops of doors and picture frames

• Clean curtain rails

• Vacuum and dust both sides of curtains and blinds

• Wipe and polish mirrors, pictures, and wall hangings

• Remove sofa cushions and beat outdoors to remove dust

• Vacuum sofas with and without cushions

• Move furniture and vacuum underneath

• Wipe and polish all wooden furniture

 Bathrooms

• Clean and polish toilets, showers, baths, and tiles

• Clean basins, taps, and fittings

• Remove hard water stains and limescale where present

• Scrub and rinse soap dispensers

• Wipe and polish radiators and towel rails
